Direct access to the river from the campsite
The Célé is a river in the south of France, flowing through the Cantal and Lot departments in the Occitanie and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes regions. A right-bank tributary of the Lot, and therefore a sub-tributary of the Garonne, the Célé is the Lot’s second-largest tributary after the Truyère.
From our campsite near Figeac, you have free access to the river for swimming, playing or relaxing. On the Célé, you can enjoy water renowned for its quality.
In summer, although swimming is not supervised, it is permitted and very popular with families. Children love to throw pebbles, build small dams or simply cool off. The Célé, 104 km long, flows through Figeac and offers an exceptional leisure environment, between cliffs, forests and natural beaches.
